L'installation de rpy2 -2.1.5 sur Mac OS X 10.5.8 échoue

J'ai cherché loin et large, lire une question précédente dans stackoverflow mais ne peux pas sembler résoudre le problème d'installer rpy2 sur mon Mac avec OS X 10.5.8 . J'ai Xcode 3.1.4 installé et R 2.1.11. quand je lance:

sudo python setup.py build install 

Je reçois ceci:

Pouvez-vous essayer un instantané à partir du référentiel de mercurial? (ou l'autre branche version_2.1.x - future version 2.1.6 - ou version_2.2.x - future version 2.2.0)

La procédure de construction a été simplifié et devrait accueillir mieux OS X.
